This sh*t isn't easy

The hard truth I learned after leaving 13 years in restaurants: The difficulty is the filter.

It filters out:

• The wishers from the workers

• The excuse-makers from the action-takers

When I started, I:

• Had no idea what I was doing

• Made every mistake possible

• Felt completely lost

But I kept going.

Not because I'm special. Not because I had some advantage. But because I understood one thing:

The struggle is the process.
